			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The UK Joint Committee on Women (UKJCW) is made up of four sister organisations from across the UK, comprising <a title="Engender" href="http://www.engender.org.uk/" target="_blank">Engender</a>, network of women’s organisations in Scotland, the <a title="NAWO" href="http://www.nawo.org.uk/" target="_blank">National Alliance of Women’s Organisations</a> (NAWO) in England, Women&#8217;s Voice in Wales and Northern Ireland Women’s European Platform.</p>
<p>The UKJCW was set up to co-ordinate a UK view with respect to the European Women’s Lobby (EWL) (Link) and to provide forums for discussion for and information to women and women’s organisations.</p>

<li>advancing equal rights for women</li>
<li>securing equal opportunities for women</li>
